When a game designer is also a DJ, I guess it's not a huge surprise they end up taking any opportunity to remix their own music. Daisuke Nagata usually ends up releasing remix albums for any game he composes for; this one was included with a special edition of one of his recent releases. It's definitely mixed more for listening than for gameplay, which I appreciate when getting to hear it on its own.
