Manabu Namiki - Ketsui
One of my fave shmup soundtracks of this era. This certainly has the intense techno sound of his other soundtracks, but with Ketsui Namiki's gone for much more of a mysterious, melancholy sound - especially with that opening track. It fits the game's ambiguous tone very well.
I have this on CD as part of a 3 CD soundtrack that came with my PS3 copy of Ketsui. One of those times I was just as happy to get the music as the game.
