Manteca - Strength in Numbers
I stopped in a record store in the new neighbourhood, which is always dangerous - walked out with two fusion jazz albums. This one's by Manteca, a Toronto-based band I played on here before. Really enjoying this one; it's very 80s fusion, in a good way. A lot of fun.
The whole thing isn't on Youtube or streaming, unfortunately, so I can't link the full thing. Two tracks made it onto their 1990 compilation album which is on streaming though, so I've embedded those tracks here.
