The Gordie Tucker Jazz Trio (self-titled)
This was another find from the same thrift store as yesterday's album. This one's a Nova Scotian jazz trio centred around Gordie Tucker's folk fiddle, accompanied by piano and acoustic bass, playing familiar jazz standards like Autumn Leaves or What A Wonderful World. I'm really not used to hearing a fiddle playing jazz like this; it's an interesting experience.
This one was released on CD only and has zero streaming or youtube presence, so no embed today. Sorry!
