The Senegambian Jazz Band (self-titled)
My wife and I have been catching up on older series of Spicks and Specks, an Australian music quiz show. One episode had a kora player on, and his playing was so gorgeous I just had to look him up. Well, turns out he heads up an African fusion jazz band, and it's fantastic! Really interesting mix of instruments, and gorgeous playing.
