Wada Kanako - Tenderness
This is actually the first vinyl album I ever bought. I've been a big fan of Wada Kanako for a long time, but this first album was only ever released on vinyl so it was the last album of hers I was able to buy. I ended up borrowing a record player and jury-rigging a way to digitally transfer it just so I could listen for the first time. It finally came out on CD a few years ago, so I don't need that crusty transfer anymore, but it does mean I can listen to this album on the turntable anytime I want now that I've got my own.
Listening to it now, I can tell this is early work; her voice isn't quite confident yet, but it's still quite a fun album and in a few songs she gets close to the singer she'd become later.
